Beautiful fan fire shield called "peacock tail" in bronze and gilded brass, dating from the late 19th century. Quality french work. Decoration of stylized acanthus leaves. 9 panels make up the fan system. The brass is openwork with finesse, with a nice patina. Beautiful state of conservation, perfectly functional. Dimensions: height: 60 cm. Width: 26.5 cm at the foot. Length: 87 cm unfolded / 16 cm folded. Weight: 3, 470 kg.
