Brutalist tripod stool

Stool or antique side table, in a brutalist style. Its thick round top made of solid wood, carved from a section of trunk, features beautiful radiating drying cracks and a warm brown patina, ranging from honey to deep red. It rests on three solid black wrought iron legs finished with curved feet that have a fixing hole. The legs are attached under the top with iron plates and bolts, giving the whole piece a handcrafted and robust feel. A sculptural and authentic piece, perfect as an extra seat, at the end of a sofa, as a bedside table, or in an entrance hall. Good used condition for its age. Natural drying cracks, small marks and signs of use, a few visible old holes. Solid and stable structure.
