Mundus Vienna Austria curved wood bistro chair

This curved wooden chair dates from the very beginning of the 20th century. It comes from the austrian mundus factory. The models from the mundus factory are rare since they are produced in much smaller quantities than those from the thonet or fischel houses. This model dates from the art nouveau period, we like its round pyrographed seat with floral decoration and its curved and rounded backrest. Original marking under the seat and in good general condition despite the passage of woodworms on the wood (see photo) which has been treated with xylophene and we also notice a repair that dates back to the back of the backrest (see photo).
