Mid-century Danish metal outdoor wall lamp model Pirate by Eva Koppel, Nils Koppel, Gert Edstrand for Nordisk Solar, 1960s.

Robust vintage outdoor wall lamp Pirate in a special colour from the Danish manufacturer Nordisk Solar. The Pirate is inspired by a maritime design language based on functionality. The frame grid is made of thick cast aluminium, painted yellow, and serves to physically protect the shade. The shade is made of clear polycarbonate. The wider part of a bracket in the middle helps to shield against glare from the light source at the front. The lamp is IP54 rated for outdoor use. The lamp is in good condition with signs of wear and a slight patina (see photos).
