Dining table by Gijs Bakker

Dining table from the ‘strip’ series, designed by gijs bakker and produced by castelyn in the netherlands in the 1970’s. The table is made from laminated beech wood. The legs are taken away from the tabletop, making for a surprising detail. The table top has a few small cracks in the varnish and a few thin lines in the veneer on one corner. Further it’s in very good condition as it has been sitting under a blanket in a dutch attic for over 30 years. The legs of this table are easily detachable with 8 screws in total, making this table easy to transport and assemble. We have the matching set of 6 strip dining chairs on offer as well, coming from the same attic.
