Six "strip" chairs by Gijs Bakker for Castelein

Six iconic "strip" chairs designed in 1974 by gijs bakker for castelein. The concept behind this chair was to simplify the form, leaving only a powerful, striking silhouette. The chair is made from six 11 cm-wide strips of laminated beechwood, connected with dowels. The chairs are very sturdy and comfortable to sit on.
