Two-body glass-fronted sideboard in raw oak – Louis XV style – 19th century (sandblasted) Superb two-body sideboard from the 19th century in solid oak, in Louis XV style, completely stripped by sandblasting, revealing the light colour and natural grain of the wood. • Upper part: ◦ Two glass doors with moulded crossbars revealing 3 adjustable shelves on original wooden brackets. ◦ Moulded lower rail and cornice in a gendarme hat shape crowned with a sculpted shell. • Lower part: ◦ Two moulded drawers in the belt adorned with drop ring handles. ◦ Two full doors sculpted with moulded panels and a central shell, opening to a large storage space with a shelf. ◦ Typical Louis XV curved feet and a scalloped lower rail. • Metal lock fittings and entries from the period. Condition: Good state of preservation, sold as is after sandblasting. The wood is clean and sound, ready to be left raw, oiled, waxed, or varnished according to your preferences. Signs and patina of time testify to its authenticity.
