Japanese porcelain tea service Taishō era

Magnificent and rare 26-piece set in very good condition, made of antique Japanese porcelain from the prestigious export house Tashiro Shoten. Year 1920-1930. Fine porcelain known as "egg shell" features Mount Fuji surrounded by cherry blossom branches. No chips or cracks. The interiors of the cups are covered with fine gold gilding. They are in perfect condition. There is slight wear to the gilding on the handles (see last photo), which is quite normal for porcelain that has lasted a century. One cup is missing. This set will be packaged with the utmost care.
