Coffee table - light table designed by the musicgroup daft punk in partnership with tom dixon. Manufactured by habitat, london in 2004. The table was designed to give the impression of a dancefloor by having 9 different modes for constantly changing patterns of the 25 red light squares. Two modes react to music and changes the patterns with the beat. I will send a video of the enlighted table on request. Tabletop and sides are covered with thick black glass, the base and frame is made of wood. The table was produced in a limited number of 1000 pieces. Manufacturers label with company, model and date/production batch. Euro-plug. Small scratches on the glass - hard to capture. Mode-switch and electronics were checked by a radio and tv technician. On one side there where the glasspanels are glued together, the glass is a bit chipped along the joint, but no sharp edges. (photo).
