1930s floor lamp

Beautiful model of “avant-garde” design floor lamp from the 1920s/1930s. It is made up of a base in gaic wood or other “iron wood” (the density of this wood means that the foot is not weighted by an addition of cast iron as usual which allows a small diameter and gives its elegance to the whole: 26 centimeters) which supports a metal tube of very small diameter (145 centimeters in height) ending in a brass ferrule which receives a switch socket which is topped with a small tulip-shaped opaline with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 21 cm.
