Vintage chairs in polished aluminium and plastic tinted in the mass. Published by Castelli, Cult Model created in 1967 by Giancarlo Piretti and exhibited in the design department of MoMA.7 Born in Bologna in 1940, Giancarlo Piretti studied at the Instituo Statale d'Arte. He then worked as an interior designer and created interior furniture, office furniture and the iconic Plia chair, which was acclaimed by critics and won the SMAU award. The folding chair is made of a lightweight tubular steel frame, a seat and a transparent lucite back. Functional and elegant, the Plia chair is only 5 cm thick when folded
