RARE AND ELEGANT 19TH CENTURY FRENCH DISPLAY CABINET Magnificent French display cabinet with two glass doors, in Louis XV / Rococo style, most likely dating from the Napoleonic era, around 1870–1885. This piece stands out for its elegant marquetry of precious woods, its gilded bronze ornaments, and its superb black marble top veined with white. The front features particularly decorative marquetry with intricate veining and scrolling designs. The two glass doors elegantly showcase porcelain, art objects, glassware, books, or collections. Inside: 3 oak shelves. Very beautiful decorative elements in gilded bronze in the Rococo taste, especially on the doors and the curved legs. A PIECE WITH A STRONG PRESENCE With dimensions of 92 cm in width and only 25 cm in depth, this display cabinet is particularly interesting for an elegant interior: living room, entrance, library, office, collector's cabinet, or Haussmannian apartment. Its black marble top veined with white adds a particularly luxurious finish. CONDITION Very good condition after recent restoration. Stable, clean furniture ready to be installed. DIMENSIONS Height: 107 cm. Width: 92 cm. Depth: 25 cm. Total weight: approximately 43 kg, of which about 17 kg is the marble. STYLE Louis XV / Rococo – Napoleonic – 19th century. This is a 19th-century creation inspired by the Louis XV style, and not a Louis XV piece from the 18th century. An elegant and decorative piece, ideal for a classic or contemporary interior seeking a true antique with a lot of character. Reference: I103.
