Vallauris trinket bowl

Large and beautiful cut in the shape of an enamelled ceramic sheet (flamed decoration it seems to me) with a nice combination of colors (white, brown, some turquoise touches, on a green background). It will find many uses: empty pocket in an entrance, fruit cutters in the kitchen, it could also receive remote controls, glasses and accessories on the living room table. This cup is not signed, but given its style, shape and the technique used for the decoration, it is more than likely that it comes from a workshop in vallauris. It dates from the 60s or 70s. It is in good general condition, no crack, but still shows signs of its age: the most important being a chip of 1.5 cm in length on the edge of the cut. It is not obvious because it has been masked (green paint and varnish it would seem, but a professional could certainly restore this defect, besides he has just installed one near me, so I intend to go and find out if a restoration is possible and at what price). Other small ginnings masked in the same way (sometimes the masking is a little faded), not very visible on the tips of the sheet. This cut measures 39 cm in length, 28 cm in width and 9 cm in height. It weighs 1.7 kg.
