Large oil painting ‘rivière’ by dutch painter rudolph haak (1862-1897). Rudolph jurriaan stephanus haak (‘rudolf’) was a dutch painter and draughtsman. He lived and worked in zutphen, amsterdam and the hague. He is known for his paintings of landscapes with cattle, flowers and still life paintings. This painting is signed in one of the front corners and on the back by rudolph haak. On the back the painting has been given the title ‘rivière’ as well. Oil on canvas. The painting has been cleaned by a painting restorer from the university of amsterdam. Condition: wear consistent with age and use. In general good condition as shown in images.
