Vintage daybed design by Jacques Hauville for BEMA 1950
Rare lit / Daybed designed by Jacques Hauville and published by BEMA (Bureau d’Études Modernes Appliquées à l’habitation) in the 1950s. A very beautiful model representative of French furniture from the Reconstruction, characterised by a particularly light and modern line. The head and foot of the bed, symmetrical in shape, feature large openings with rounded corners that give the whole a very graphic silhouette. The bed is fully dismountable and is sold with its slatted base (not original). In good overall condition. The structure is solid and stable. Some signs of wear (see photos). A very beautiful piece of French Design that will easily find its place in a modern or vintage interior. Maximum length: 194.5 cm Maximum width: 93.5 cm Maximum height: 60 cm Base: 190x90 cm Careful packaging upon confirmation of the order (the bed will be sent disassembled, to be reassembled with 4 screws). I am at your disposal for any questions.
