Crystal wine carafe from Fains – Original label, Original stopper

Elegant crystal wine carafe from Fains, adorned with its original label "Fains France". Its cut decoration, featuring geometric patterns and stars, finely reflects the craftsmanship of this French glassworks. The carafe is complete, with its original cut crystal stopper, perfectly fitted. The whole piece is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There are very slight nicks at the base of the stopper (see photos), which are invisible in use. The crystal is clear and brilliant. It will need to be cleaned by its new owner, as I have not done so to avoid removing the original label. A refined piece that will find its place on an elegant table as well as in a collection of antique glassware.
