Very beautiful artisanal stoneware jug, hand-turned, glazed in majolica style, milky white glaze allowing the dark rust/brown ceramic to show through, with dark blue, mint green, and black brown floral patterns. Nice cylindrical body shape with a grooved round neck, a beautiful sturdy handle, and a small spout. Vintage, typical of the 1970s, unsigned production from Vallauris, attributable to Boris Kasianoff, in the style of the works from the time of Albert Thiry, from the Mûrier workshop, Derval. In very good condition, with a small glaze defect at the bottom, under the handle, discreet and most likely original.
