Luminaire "Mezzaluna" designed by Bruno Gecchelin ('75) / ceiling or wall light

Luminaire "Mezzaluna" by Bruno Gecchelin and produced by Skipper in 1975. Rare version usable as a chandelier or wall sconce. Two photos are archival images; they give the impression that the stem can be installed perpendicular to the ceiling, which is misleading as the stem must be angled. Overall good condition, the photos provide details. The aged white lacquer has taken on an ivory hue. There is some crazing in the lacquer, but no flaking; a small impact has been touched up. The chrome is free of defects or pitting. The rose has been modified with 4 milled holes to allow for ceiling mounting on a DCL connection point, with 4 chrome-headed screws. Bulb type R7S, 118 mm in length, halogen or LED block.
