Folding "swan neck" child's bed in sculpted cast iron, 19th century

Charming 19th century folding children's bed, with "swan neck" uprights, in cast steel sculpted with plant motifs and an angel's face that enlivens the long front panel. This bed has been stripped and sandblasted previously; it can be easily repainted, if necessary... It has its bed base, in good condition, with a wooden frame, made to measure; the fabric that covers it can easily be replaced. The four legs are finished with the original casters. These beds were once furnished with an embroidered sheet bed surround, stretched over the high horizontal bars; the latter are removable, and this bed can thus become a small sofa or "day-bed"... In excellent general condition, it only has a few traces of superficial oxidation. Total length = 142 cm; interior = 125 cm total width = 64 cm; interior = 54 cm height = 72 cm weight between 25 and 30 kilos excluding bed base.
