Rococo chest of drawers style jewelry box

Period: ca. 1950-1960. This relatively large jewelry box can store a lot of items. It was made to resemble a chest of drawers and is loosely based on the louis XV style with the serpentine shapes of the legs, apron and tray. The drawer fronts feature embossed lattice decoration and classically shaped metal drawer tie rods. The middle drawer comes out accordion style and has rollers covered in red velvet to put the rings. The other four drawers also have this red velvet lining. The wood is made of oak. Status: good. On the top at the back there is a crack that has been repaired and is only visible if emphasized. The varnish is in good condition except for some very minor scratches. Dimensions: 41 cm long, 17 cm deep, 20.5 cm high, 1.150 kg.
