Double curtain cabinet

This is a double wooden filing cabinet from the famous French brand RADIA. The company was located in Varennes sur Allier, half an hour from Grandpapa. It was the largest French manufacturer of office furniture. Production spanned from 1920 to 1960. This piece of solid oak furniture has the unique feature of opening with two sliding wooden louvered curtains in grooves, with 20 adjustable plywood shelves and metal locks. There is only one key. Its natural patina has been cleaned and presents a raw wood appearance, with simple lines and authentic materials. Some signs of wear are present. Its functionality has been perfectly revised in our workshop. The piece is ready to be installed. We recommend a vintage Scandinavian, seaside atmosphere accompanied by baskets or wabi-sabi on a polished concrete wall with terracotta pots, or in an industrial style, although that would be less original.
