Design derived from the style of Sam Maloof (American, 1916 - 2009). Both highly functional and of uncommon elegance. The backrest is inclined at 12 degrees and designed so that once seated, the arm naturally rests on the longitudinal hat. The spindles offer slight flexibility, capable of withstanding significant pressure. Made by Ateliers Vau Fontaine in France, featuring traditional joinery, turned and through legs, locked with an ebony wedge. All designed and crafted to last through the centuries.
