Half-moon console side table faux marble

A superb demi-lune console table from France dating from around 1880. It exudes an incredible atmosphere and serves as a conversation piece. The tabletop is made of wood but imitates marble, known as Faux Marble. The edge of the table is beautifully crafted, as is the leg. The colours black, white, and gold complement each other very well, especially now that the table has acquired a lovely patina over time. The table is made of pine and beech.
