Oval mirror in bamboo and rattan, circa 1960

Magnificent vintage oval wall mirror made of bamboo and rattan, dating from the 1960s. This mirror features a superb design, composed of interwoven circular rings of curved bamboo and woven rattan, in a dark brown colour, slightly curved inwards. It is in very good original and vintage condition, with very slight signs of use and a natural patina. The glass has very slight old marks (see photos), but no cracks or chips. The mirror is equipped with two hooks/fixing systems on the back (see photos), allowing for horizontal or vertical installation according to your preferences. It has been cleaned, oiled, and waxed in keeping with its original patina. Thanks to its practical dimensions, it will find its place in an entrance, on a small wall between two doors, in a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, etc. All photos were taken in natural outdoor light; colours may therefore vary depending on brightness, reflections from the stone, viewing angle, and perspective.
