Imposing wooden fireplace mirror, carved and moulded, painted in neo-Renaissance style. 19th century period. Fireplace trumeau with columns and gallery. The mirror is topped with a projecting entablature, decorated with a gallery of balusters, reminiscent of the balustrades of Renaissance castles. The frame is flanked by two engaged columns, finely carved. It features motifs of fluted shafts, turned rings, and baluster-shaped elements at the base. At the top, the pediment presents a rectangular relief panel. Finished with a aged patina that reveals the wood grain while providing light nuances in the recesses, beautifully highlighting the sculptures. Wooden backing. Bevelled mercury mirror with excellent clarity. Note a small缺口 at the bottom and top of the right column, see photo. Can be placed or hung, with hooks present. Overall in good condition. Ideal for a chic and romantic decor. Height dimension 170 cm. Maximum length 106 cm at the top and 93 cm at the bottom. Maximum depth 16 cm at the bottom and 8 cm at the top.
