This lovely set of two OBERNAI cups comes from the Sarreguemines factory. This set consists of two breakfast cups made of earthenware and saucers. They belong to the Obernai service, whose decoration was painted by Henri Loux in the early 20th century: one cup is adorned with a medallion featuring the Ganzeliese "young woman with geese", while the other is decorated with a garland of flowers and ribbon bows. In generally good condition, the cups measure 11.5 X 7 cm and the saucers measure approximately 19 cm. The cups bear the mark "Sarreguemines France V" and the saucers are marked "Obernai - Faïencerie Sarreguemines - France". I note signs of use: crazing of the glaze and scratches, as well as a chip on one cup.
