Formica scoubidou coffee table

Charming vintage French coffee table, featuring a typical design from the 1950s/60s, combining a light green Formica round top with a tubular metal frame and a second top made of woven green scoubidou. A piece full of character, particularly interesting due to the combination of materials and colours: the light green Formica contrasts beautifully with the green weaving and the patinated metal. The table has been carefully cleaned and restored. The scoubidou weaving has been hand-cleaned to preserve its original appearance and colours. The metal base has been treated against corrosion while intentionally retaining its vintage patina, reflecting its history and age. The result is an authentic, original, and decorative piece, perfect as a coffee table, side table, or small vintage furniture in a retro, mid-century, 1950s/60s interior or in a more contemporary decor.
