D'Avesn / Made in France" Pierre D'Avesn (1901-1990): was a sculptor and designer who graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he studied under François Decorchemont. He was employed by Lalique, where he worked for 10 years, and by Daum between 1930 and 1936. His works are characteristic of the Art Deco movement. France, circa 1930. Signed "P.
