Salon Jacob & Josef Kohn – Vienna – sofa and 2 caned armchairs – circa 1900. Very beautiful antique set comprising a sofa and two armchairs in bentwood and caning. Model in the Vienna Secession style attributed to Jacob & Josef Kohn, a famous Austro-Hungarian manufacturer of bentwood furniture from the early 20th century. Set stamped under the seat. Solid structure, caning in generally good condition, beautiful original patina. Openwork backs with fan decoration typical of Viennese productions from this period. Dimensions: Chair (x2): seat: 48x46 cm. Back height: 47 cm. Sofa: seat: 116x46 cm. Back height: 47 cm. Period: circa 1900-1915.
