These two beautiful cups and saucers were made by Bareuther Waldassen in 1966, the year of its centenary (the factory opened in 1866, with a production interruption during the war years, and continued under various owners until 1994). They are made from very fine and translucent Bavarian porcelain, and their design is very representative of the mid-20th century. Both pieces are in good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing. The outside of the cups features a pattern of vertical grooves that makes them very pleasant to the touch. Each cup has two black and red roses inside, and the inner rim is decorated with a golden lattice pattern. The saucer is bordered with the same golden pattern and features a rose. Each cup measures approximately 5 cm in height and has a diameter of 9 cm. The saucers have a diameter of just over 13 cm. Together, the sets have a total weight of 220 g excluding packaging.
