Small vase Marius Bessone, Vallauris – "fat lava" ceramic Mid-century

Small cone-shaped vase in glazed ceramic attributed to Marius Bessone, Vallauris: white volcanic glaze, abstract decoration in pink, blue, and yellow, lemon yellow interior. The signature of the piece aligns with its likely former purpose of service. Its attribution is also based on the style of the decoration, which connects it to the production of the 1950s signed "Bessone Vallauris": relief glaze resembling lava, outlined abstract shapes, bright colored interior. Very good condition.
