Elegant set consisting of a cabriolet armchair accompanied by its matching footrest, in moulded and sculpted cherry wood, in Louis XV style. The armchair features a violin-shaped backrest and armrests with sleeves, resting on curved legs typical of the style. The stool harmoniously reflects the same curved lines and sculptural work, forming a coherent and decorative ensemble. The upholstery, in damask fabric in green and beige tones, is in good usable condition and highlights the elegant lines of the furniture. The seats are accented by a row of upholstery nails. The wood has a beautiful warm patina, with careful work on the stretchers and legs, particularly visible on the curved belt of the footrest. Period: 20th century.
