Large Vintage 1950s Italian Florentine Louis XVI Style Gold Wall Lamp Sconce

Please be aware that customs fees may be applicable if you buy from outside of the UK.] A very tall two-light ‘bras de lumière’ sconce executed in hand-carved and faux-distressed gilded wood decorated with bows and tassels, modelled loosely after louis XVI period designs by pierre gouthière, france, and paired with typical florentine metal arms, bearing gilt leaves and petals. They were made in italy in the 1950s. The sconce can be finished with decorative low-wattage bulbs, or with traditional candle shades that attach directly to the bulb. The sconce can be hung loosely on the wall via a small loop to the verso, or screwed to the wall for a hard-wired fix. The sconce has a new italian-made bulbholder and new card candle tubes. The sconce accepts x2 e14 small edison screw bulbs. It will require wiring before use. There are three sconces available.
