Round lacquered wooden box, hand-painted, traditional russian crafts. Decorated with floral motifs, inside and out. Khokhloma wood painting is a russian folk art born in the 17th century. Cut from lime or aspen, these objects are hand-painted, varnished and heated. Very good general condition.
