Oak farmhouse bar stool circa 30's/40's

Vintage farmhouse bar stool on tripod legs with footrest, circa 1930s/40s. This stool comes from a farm in the southwest of france, is handcrafted from oak, with a rich, dark oak color with long legs that end in a concave shape. The piece is in good general condition, original and vintage with some old marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of age and time on the overall structure (see photos ). Old repairs under the edge of the seat, and base (see photos), and some old woodworm marks on the edge of the seat, as you would expect for a piece almost 100 years old. The stool has been completely treated, oiled and waxed respecting its original patina of time. A slight gap of a few millimeters on one side of the seat which does not affect its use (see photos.) anti-scratch pads/metal feet are present (see photos.). The stool is solid, stable and constitutes a great decor piece to use as a statement stand, or plant stand, in any contemporary, farmhouse, industrial, vintage, or rustic-contemporary space.
