Indian crocodile, crocodile niloticus, spectacled alligator, the skulls of these animals. Unframed engraving, showing various crocodiles, originally drawn by Charles Pyne and engraved by J. Lowry, published by Baldwin & Cradock, 1828. The engravings in this collection are very detailed dark grey on cream paper. The left lateral edge is serrated with a closed tear of 3cm, and they are blank on the back. Most plates have freckles/tanning areas, which is normal. Paper size: 8 X 10.5 inches or 21.5 X 27.5 cm, approx. Your print will be protected by a polythene/cello bag, in a rigid packaging. ** All frames shown are for illustration only and are not part of the sale. ** Print maintenance: protect from direct sunlight.
