Pitcher jug in amber yellow bubbled glass La Rochère

This beautiful jug is made of bubbled glass of amber orange color. It is mouth-blown according to an artisanal technique in the taste of biot. It bears the label of the glassworks la rochère. We see, at the base, the trace of the break of the cane to blow the glass. The bubbled glass in biot exists since 1956, the glassmakers then succeed in creating the bubble: by mastering the bubble, to impregnate it between two layers of glass, thus making a defect a quality. Between tradition and creation, each biot glassworks is unique, because blown in the mouth by the master glassmakers. Depending on the season, the products are available in all colors: sand pink, linden, amethyst, persian blue, amber... Pastel and sparkling colors at the same time. In very good condition, this pitcher is 15 cm high and 16 cm in diameter.
