Important and decorative Chinese teapot in glazed ceramic, featuring a beautiful deep red glaze accented with touches of yellow and dark hues. Generously rounded in shape, it has a long spout and a spectacular, wavy upper handle, designed in a naturalistic spirit reminiscent of a knotted branch. The body is adorned with raised Chinese characters highlighted in yellow enamel, forming a particularly prominent decoration against the red background. The domed lid is topped with a grip knob and has a small steam vent. The deliberately irregular surface of the glaze, color variations, and different drips give this teapot a rustic and highly decorative character.
