Jarama chair in Space Age style designed by Alberto Rosselli in 1969. This quite rare piece of furniture was made in fiberglass by the Italian company Saporiti. At the time, the futuristic-looking chair could be purchased in combination with the Jarama desk. The seat is considering its age in very nice vintage with here and there some traces of use that are typical for its age (see photos). Furthermore, the chair has a nice shine and there is no crack to be found anywhere. Alberto Rosselli was one of the founders of the concept of industrial design in Italy. From 1952 until his death in 1976 he worked with Gio Ponti and Fornaroli as the architectural firm 'Studio Ponti-Fornaroli-Rosselli' in Milan, Italy. In 1953 he also founded the magazine 'Stile Industria', which included the creation of the design award 'Compasso d'Oro'. Alberto Rosselli posthumously received a Life Time Achievement Design Award in 1987.
