Baumann vintage coffee table – smoked glass

This square coffee table (1970s model) is an authentic piece from the Baumann Manufacture, renowned for its work with bent wood and beech. It retains its original stamp under the top, a guarantee of its pedigree. Restoration & Modernity: To restore its full glory, we have replaced the used top with a new 8 mm thick "Parsol" glass. The Style: The anthracite grey (smoked) tint of the glass creates a chic and contemporary contrast with the warm "honey" colour of the beech structure. The Design: The tapered legs and the geometric wood assembly work, typical of Baumann's craftsmanship, are appreciated. Ideal Size: With its compact dimensions (60 X 60 cm), it is absolutely versatile: perfect as a coffee table for a small Parisian living room or as an elegant side table in a large room. Condition: Excellent. The wooden structure is sound and patinated, and the glass top is new (no scratches).
