Old 10-leaf shutters

Old shutters from a bourgeois house Probably installed indoors. When deployed, they are 2.44cm high X 2.00m wide. In 2 parts, left and right, they total 8 small hinged leaves 25cm wide which fold on each other. In oak or chestnut, the whole is assembled traditionally by cutting and doweling, they have their original paint which does not flake and their wood is not at all pitted. Usable again as shutters, they can also be diverted into cupboard doors, headboards, privacy screens, wall cladding and certainly many other things... Note the lack of a hinge on one end which could not be recovered during dismantling (classic hinge found in stores).
