Louis Philippe armchair restored to new condition

Louis-Philippe period cabriolet armchair, dressed in fabrics from Zéphir & Co. I have reupholstered this seat, deliberately choosing to leave the wood exposed, worn and marked by time, to highlight the contrast between a resolutely modern fabric and a seat that has endured for several centuries. The upholstery is a semi-traditional technique that blends traditional methods with contemporary contributions, particularly the use of foam. This mix allows for exceptional comfort while respecting the spirit and tradition of the seat. The fabric, designed by Zéphir & Co, combines two different velvets, created as negatives of each other. This play of contrast creates a harmonious dialogue between the materials and enhances the unique character of this armchair.
