Arabescato marble and chrome steel dining table

Iconic roche-bobois table super malta model. Large oval top in arabescato marble, cruciform base in chromed stainless steel. Carrara arabescato is a marble stone originating from the Carrara region in Italy, dating from the Jurassic period. The background of this marble is very white with more or less wide and very clear gray veins which gives a very beautiful energy. Period 1970/1979. This table was purchased in 1974 from roche bobois. Rust spots on the base but which do not attract the eye (visible in the photos) The top does not show any impact. The epoxy varnish of the time has yellowed but this is what gives it its charm.
