This magnificent and extremely rare zoomorphic jug is the highly accomplished result of the collaboration between Paul Quéré, for the glazing, and his partner Ariane Mathieu for the shape. The underside bears both signatures: Impressed: Ariane, 3/20, 1966, France. In paint: Quéré, moulin d'Andé.
