Set of 12 english dinner plates ridgway (staffordshire), "windsor" model. "windsor" is a revival, made by ridgway in the 1950s, of the "asian pheasants" motif which, with the "blue willow" motif, was one of the stars of english transferware in the 19th century. Century. Fine english earthenware ('ironstone'). Decor in blue on white monochrome representing two pheasants in flight among lush flowers; lobed border. English manufacture from the 1960s. In very good condition: no scratches from use or traces of friction; a chip on the back of a plate and a knock (without impact) on the edge of another plate (see detailed photos). A large set of good quality, in quite exceptional condition. Diam. 25 cm.
