Modular sofa De Sede "Cosmos" DS28 in gray/brown leather, Switzerland, 1970s. The Cosmos features characteristics of both the Camaleonda by Mario Bellini and the "Terrazzi" also by De Sede. The backrest and the folds of the cushions show many similarities with the Camaleonda, while the lower lumbar support closely resembles the Terrazzi, both in shape and appearance. Very thick leather in very good condition. Beautiful patina created by time. The color is difficult to define precisely — somewhere between gray and brown, with a muted tone that varies slightly depending on the light. It does not dominate the room but maintains a presence. It consists of four sections that assemble to form a gentle arc, but you can also separate and reconfigure it if necessary. The Cosmos is very comfortable, and lying down in a corner works very well, making it perfectly suited for two people to relax together. Of all the De Sede sofas, the Cosmos is the most comfortable, based on experience, thanks to its ergonomic design. The rounded shapes do their job very well: inviting and comfortable. The sofa is no longer in production, making it a very unique and limited piece, and this is your chance to acquire one. A perfect half-circle. On one of the four elements, there is a scratch on the backrest that contributes entirely to the overall appearance. The patina of this sofa is perfect, exactly as desired. Dimensions. Width: 350 cm. Height: 70 cm.
