Elegant 19th-century table lamp (1850-1880), a refined example of the French neoclassical style. The piriform base in fine glazed earthenware features a delicate blue grand feu printed decoration showcasing rococo motifs: shells, festoons, and crowned coat of arms, reflecting heraldic prestige. The gilded bronze mount, composed of three massive clawed legs, gives the whole piece a majestic stability. The period lampshade in cream fabric is enhanced with sophisticated trimmings in blue-grey and cream, featuring wavy ribbon and generous fringes. Base: H 36 cm, Ø 16 cm. Lampshade: H 37 cm, Ø 40 cm. Satisfactory condition. Natural patina of the bronze, original lampshade well preserved despite slight signs of use consistent with age. A testament to the craftsmanship of 19th-century French manufacturers.
