Vintage Scandinavian design mirror, 1960s

Scandinavian-style mirror, round with a wide frame, veneered in exotic wood with honey and copper tones, probably teak. The veneer is applied in a herringbone pattern: four diamonds, positioned at the cardinal points, bring the wood grains together. It is discreet and precise, a true craftsman's work. The edge is rounded and soft to the touch. The glass is set back. The back is closed with a single-piece wooden panel, featuring a recessed hanging notch. The mirror is in very good condition. The silvering shows a slight haze, which is mainly visible up close (see last photo). Dimensions: Ø 47 cm x Th. 1 cm (mirror Ø 39 cm)
