Beautiful oil on canvas of a seaside in france signed by Christophe Charpidès (1909-1992). Christo charpidès was born in samos (greece) in 1909. He moved to paris in the 1930s and married the daughter of the painter henri-jacques delpy. He lived in montmartre, near the "bateau-lavoir". In paris, from 1939 to 1943, he exhibited landscapes, especially from paris, at the salon des artists indépendants. His favorite themes were paris, brittany and greece. Frame a little broken on the left corner but at the back.
