Large porcelain earthenware deep plate or bowl jules vieillard bordeaux moustiers 19th century (1880) this is a highly sought after and collectible by collectors and lovers of antique french porcelain and ceramics. This is an almost unique piece as it is a 19th century piece inspired by the famous "bérain" pattern. An elegant antique french blue and white transferware plate. It has been decorated with a 19th century design depicting two mythological dogs from a series called "moustiers" made by the world renowned ceramic company jules vieillard of bordeaux. This plate has been numbered and the reverse bears the hallmarks of the artisan jules vieillard. Dimensions: 25cm diameter 10cm high condition: the blue and white ceramic plate is in good antique condition with signs of wear and age including cracked lines.
